The Shimazu Clan
The Shimazu were a clan of provincial violent belligerents who fought with hotheaded reckless abandon, or so it appeared. Beneath that battlecraze that surpassed even my own, their integrity as united warriors blazed bright to those capable of withstanding their singleminded charge. Bearing the crest of the Shimazu cross along with their unwieldy greatswords, they valued their lives differently than the sane would, willing to expose themselves to great punishment if it might gain them a single advantage. They would even leap into a wall of spears if it meant granting their ally an opening. This technique is born from this madness and is worth experiencing for oneself.
Yet another favored technique [Vengeance Blitz] of the Shimazu clan, their unquenchable lust for the heads of enemy officers stoked them towards suicide charges. Yet despite their irrationality, such charges were not without tactial reason. A squadron without its head is primed to be routed, and that devil’s charge, let alone a successful assassination, strikes fear deep into the unprepared. When beset on all sides by danger, one’s sublime self can emerge. Take to the battlefield, exceed your limits, and strike without hesitation.

Charger. When the Shimazu warrior uses their action to Dash, it can use a Bonus Action to make one melee weapon attack or to shove a creature. If it moves at least 10 feet in a straight line immediately before taking this Bonus Action, it either gains a +5 bonus to the attack’s damage roll (if it chose to make a melee attack and hit) or push the target up to 10 feet away from it (if it chose to shove and you succeed).
Brash Clash. When the Shimazu warrior makes a Greatsword attack using its Action, it can remove its ability modifier to damage it would deal on a hit to allow the target creature to as a reaction make a single weapon attack against the Shimazu warrior with advantage. If the target does so, then an ally of the Shimazu warrior’s choice within 15 feet of the target can then make a single weapon attack against the target as a reaction.

Description
The battle-crazed Shimazu warrior seeks the heads of enemy officers to seize their glory. They charge into battle and try to slay their enemies in a single stroke and, failing that, are content to face death.

Description
When defeated, taking full responsibility is the duty and honor given only to the fine commanders. Those unwilling to commit the ritual disembowelment are unworthy of their station and should leave their heads behind.
